Greetings Universe.
Last week was full of epic failures.
But here are the problem solving I’ve found so far for the legs are a bunch of pivot GRPs to get the desired movement.
There were a lot of very hilarious epic fails and some more when I figured out "hei Pivot_GRPs are still a thing", and then some more epic fails concerning the placements of those groups but I think I’ve sort of figured out the right places now.
And on to the glorious U-joint for the ankles.. After a lot of cross-eyed research I think I’m at least 2 steps closer to the solution.
So far I’m using some aim constrains and notes so get this result but it’s going to be needing a lot of fine-tuning to work fluently with the ankles.

So Hopefully I can send a Prototype of the Rig to the animator soon and start focusing trying to create a script that will make the rigging for the pistons that much easier.
