Just look at it!

Greetings Universe.

So far since last time I have added the rest of the basic rig to my Mel script and now I have finally cracked that universal joint! (I think)

So yes this has indeed been a good week so far.

I mean just look at it! it is just beautiful!

It behaves so naturally to the movement of the leg joints, so I have of course already incorporated it into my script.

So other than working on this little rascal I had the pleasure of being right.

Since the animator came over and asked for some changes for the rig that might make it easier and quicker to animate, and I have to admit that the request was good in theory but there is a reason why I didn't make it like that to begin with.

So even though I knew already that wouldn't really work, since It would put all the ik motion off balance, and would actually be more of a hassle for him to work with, I did it anyway since it is good practice after all.

So after I made all of the changes he requested, he came back over and admitted that the original one had much smoother movement and more animation friendly than the one with the changes he wanted.

You know the moment when you know you were right since the start, but went along with it anyways because they wanted to try it out and then when they realise that you are a genius after all, is just pure bliss.

So until next time I will be working on the stewart platform and making the piston script smoother while also getting every thing ready for the workshop.

And if I haven't mentioned it yet I am hosting a workshop for the school via the exited program, once a week until the end of block 3. Now I just need to figure out how to speak in front of a lot of people while fighting the urge to just disappear.
